"I have recently finished reading the new copy of Silent Ears, Silent Heart. Wow! I have truly loved the book . . . What I enjoyed most about it is how many different issues you were able to deal with---from education, hearing parents of deaf children, deaf children and hearing peers, isolation of deaf/Deaf people, Deaf people and their jobs, Deaf people and society---there wasn't a topic you didn't cover in some way! Thank you for what has easily become my favorite book!"

"I am an officer of...a student organization in Mentor, OH. One of our other officers had recently purchased this book and had it in the club office. During my office hours, I began skimming through the early pages, and quickly realized that the language and story was pulling me into the book.
